“Our goal must be to empower others to do what is right and good for them, and to bring them into spiritual maturity.” Rom 15:2 TPT
Love and compassion are the measure of true Christianity.
Our Lord Jesus Christ emphasised this by identifying the commandments to love God as the first and general law, after which He declared the directive to love fellow human beings as the second most important law Matt 22:35-40.
Many Christians do not have a clear understanding of the responsibilities that God has placed on us in relation to our fellow human beings.
Some are still asking, “Am I my brother’s keeper?” If you must know, the answer is yes. God expects you, as Christ’s ambassador in this world, to be your brother’s and sister’s keeper.
We have a responsibility to our brethren in the Lord and to the world at large, to be the salt of the earth and beacons of light in this world of darkness. We need to live a life that is true to what the Lord said about us in Matt 5:13-14.
Our light must shine so much that the reflection would brighten the paths of others in darkness and thereby bring glory to God.
Father, please strengthen me to manifest as a problem solver to my generation, IJN.
Shalom!
Amen
I will be a beacon of hope to others
