The living, the living man, he shall praise You, As I do this day; The father shall make known Your truth to the children. Isaiah 38:19 NKJV
A deep reflection on the scripture above shows that only living beings on this terrain can praise the Lord.
Sometimes our motivation to praise God is constantly hindered by current issues, challenges, needs or situations confronting us.
Some years ago, I was confronted with a situation, a sister told me, keep on praising God. Honestly, praising God when confronted with serious challenges is not an easy task, but few examples from the Bible like king Jehoshaphat, Paul & Silas, shows that praising God in the midst of serious challenges is the fastest way out of those challenges.
The situation was eventually resolved by God Himself after a while. Sometimes the answer may not come immediately after praising God.
While waiting for answers, you might experience different reactions from people around, but when you hold on to God like Jacob, the desirable answer will surely come, the answer is tied to your attitude while waiting.
Father, I praise and thank you for life, your mercy, provision and kindness. I hand over the challenges of life confronting me and I thank you for the resolution IJN
Shalom!
