Ephesians 4:3 NKJV “endeavoring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.” Your attitude as a believer is very important. The fact that we have a right to rebuke a brother is not a license for a frontal attack on everyone who hurts or slights you. Check your attitude before you confront that individual. Do you love the person you want to confront? Do not use the opportunity to get even. Are you willing to forgive him? It could be your spouse, friend, boss, employee or in-law. Let all things be done decently and in order (1 Cor 14:20). Your conduct ought to be compatible with that worthy name with which you are called Christian. Humility will enhance your walk with God and ease your daily walk with men. Pride goes before destruction (Prov 16:18); It promotes disunity while humility promotes unity. Meekness is the spirit in which we accept God's dealings with us without disputing or resisting. The ornament of a meek and quiet spirit is of great price in the sight of God. You can patiently accept the injuries done to you by men if you have a meek spirit. The opposite of meekness is self-assertion, rudeness and harshness. Father let my character and conduct bring Glory to you. Help me to always speak truth in love, and grow up into Christ who is the head. Stay blessed! Have a blessed day!
