The Fear That Prospers

“Blessed is everyone that feareth the LORD; that walketh in his ways.” Psalm 128:1 KJV

There is one fear which every wise person must possess, and this is the fear of the Lord.

While the absence of the fear of the Lord has brought untold hardship upon many people’s lives, those who walked in it in the past, all fulfilled their destinies.

One example of someone who fulfilled his destiny by walking in the fear of the Lord is Joseph. He prospered because he feared the Lord.

Do you fear the Lord? What is your character in your closet? How do you conduct yourself in hidden places? When you are corrected for wrongdoing by the spiritual leadership God has placed over you, do you question them?

Psalm 128:1-2 says “Blessed is everyone that feareth the LORD; that walketh in his ways. For thou shalt eat the labour of thine hands: happy shalt thou be, and it shall be well with thee.”

Father, please instil Your fear in my heart, help me to always do the right thing, no matter where I am in Jesus name.

Shalom!
