“Delight thyself also in the LORD; and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart.” YPsalms 37:4 KJV
Beloved, as we go along in the journey of faith, doing so many things and learning so many things for the sake of the Kingdom, we sometimes forget the first moment of knowing Jesus as our only and greatest delight.
To be in His presence and to savor His Word, the simplicity of loving God and loving others wasn’t really that complicated until many Kingdom activities, church requirements, other voices, and opinions started getting into our faith boat.
Is Jesus still your greatest delight?
Lord Jesus, I confess that You are my utmost delight and desire IJN.
