The promise of Psalm 91 isn’t for the person who just visits God during an emergency; it’s for the one who “abides”—the one who makes God’s presence their permanent address.
When you stay in that secret place, the storms and heat of the world may be raging, but you will remain cool and calm under the wings of the Almighty.
