The Power Of The Tongue

“Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof.” Proverbs 18:21 KJV

The above scripture reminds us that our words are not empty sounds but seeds. Once planted, they bear fruit either nourishing growth or spreading harm.

Circumstances may influence us, but they do not control the harvest of our speech. What we choose to declare in moments of pressure reveals whether our hearts are rooted in faith or fear.

Beloved, every word you speak today carries creative influence. Choose words that strengthen rather than wound, words that restore rather than divide.

Speak life over your home, your family, even over those who wronged you. Your tongue can release healing into tense situations and hope into weary hearts.

Decide today that your mouth will be an instrument of life.

Father, please help me use my words to build and to bless IJN.

Shalom!
