“The LORD shall fight for you, and ye shall hold your peace.” Exodus 14:14 KJV
Israel stood helpless before the Red Sea while Pharaoh’s army advanced behind them. There was no visible escape and no strength for the battle ahead.
Their deliverance would not have come through effort or resistance, but through divine intervention. The victory belonged to the Lord before the battle even began.
The Lord promised to fight on their behalf, and what followed became one of the most defining deliverances in Israel’s history. The sea parted and the pursuing army were defeated without Israel lifting a sword.
Choose surrender over scrambling. Rest in His sovereignty. Your peace declares that you trust His power more than your own plan, and that trust invites Him to move in ways you could never orchestrate.
