“Today I have given you the choice between life and death, between blessings and curses. Now I call on heaven and earth to witness the choice you make. Oh, that you would choose life, so that you and your descendants might live!” Deuteronomy 30:19 NLT
The fact that humanity was created with the freedom of choice is being overstretched by many today to mean that man is a free moral agent with the liberty to act as he/she wishes, without recourse to God.
The notion that a person can do whatever he/she likes in this world without repercussions is a lie from the pit of hell. Ecclesiastes 11:9 instructs the youth to rejoice and celebrate with the consciousness that God will judge all things.
This is confirmed by the Word of God in Ecclesiastes 12:14 that says “For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil.”
Choose God’s Will – choose life.
Father, thank you for the privilege given to me to make choices, I choose Your Will for my life in Jesus name.
