“For thus saith the Lord God, the Holy One of Israel; In returning and rest shall ye be saved; in quietness and in confidence shall be your strength: and ye would not.” Isaiah 30:15 KJV
Many people respond to pressure by trying to fix everything through constant activity, overthinking, or striving harder in their own strength.
According to the Scripture, true strength is found in returning to God in the place of prayer, resting in His promises, and trusting His guidance.
Quietness in God’s presence is not laziness or passivity, it is a posture of faith that believes God is working even when circumstances seem uncertain.
Father, I thank You that my strength is not found in striving but in resting confidently in Your presence IJN.
Shalom!
