“And wherever you stand praying, if you have anything against anyone, forgive him, that your Father in heaven may also forgive you your trespasses.” Mark 11:25 NKJV
Most people don’t realize how closely connected faith and forgiveness are. In Mark 11:24-25, Jesus says “Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them. And when ye stand to pray, forgive. “
Jesus said those two sentences consecutively on purpose. He wants us to know that releasing those who have wronged us is fundamental to receiving from God.
Unforgiveness clogs the faith channel and keeps you powerless against the mountains in your life!
Father, please help me to genuinely forgive those who offend me IJN.
