“When Jesus therefore had received the vinegar, he said, It is finished: and he bowed his head, and gave up the ghost.”John 19:30 KJV
Jesus willingly submitted Himself to go and pay the price for our salvation; it is such a touching experience when we consider what transpired in heaven as Christ presented Himself before the Father as willing and worthy to fulfill the righteous requirements of God’s judgment with regard to sin.
To pay the price for our redemption, our Lord was sorely beaten, rejected, mocked and above all, nailed to the cross between two terrible criminals.
When all the righteous requirements of God for the salvation of mankind were completely fulfilled, He declared to heaven and earth, “It is finished” after which He willingly let go of His life.
Take out time to appreciate Jesus for all He did to pay the full price for your redemption, and lay claim to every benefit that His salvation gives.
Lord Jesus, I thank You for paying the full price for my redemption, I am eternally grateful IJN.
