Through the help of the Holy Spirit, you can exercise self-control, which includes thoughts control.
There are reasons why you have to guide your thoughts:
– Your thoughts reflect the nature of our hearts. “Guard your heart above all else, for it determines the course of your life.” Proverbs 4:23
– Your thoughts reflect what you fix your gaze on. Thoughts are the source of one’s life and actions. “Keep your eyes focused on what is right, and look straight ahead to what is good”. Proverbs 4:25
Father, please help me to guard my thoughts diligently in Jesus name.
