The Scripture is filled with instances where God showed up to help His own people in their time of distress.
A case was the story of Peter in the prison awaiting execution, God showed up, and he was rescued from the murderous intent of King Herod – Acts 12:5-8
The Psalmist declared that “God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble”. He further encouraged us not to be afraid, no matter the threats or challenges we are faced with.
Always put your trust in the Lord, no matter the situation.
Father, please teach me to trust in you always, for in you alone is everlasting strength IJN.
