Take Heed

I’m “And he said, I tell thee, Peter, the cock shall not crow this day, before that thou shalt thrice deny that thou knowest me.” Luke 22:34

In Luke 22:31-34, Jesus hinted Peter that Satan was after his soul and was going to test his faith, but Peter could not discern what was about to happen to him.

Our Lord interceded for Peter to keep going strong so as not to fall into sin.

As believers, we all have our moments of weakness, which is a reminder that our faith journey is not a sprint, it is a marathon; it is not an event but a process.

Even strong and established Christians may fall or backslide if care is not taken. The critical thing is to watch and pray, and if you fall, do not remain in the fallen state. Work out your own salvation with fear and trembling,

There is hope for believers who are having issues with their standing in Christ. Jesus understands all you have been through and will pardon the penitent.

Christians who think they are standing are to take heed lest they fall 1 Corinthians 10:12.

Father, please uphold me, that I may take heed and not fall to the trap of the devil IJN.

Shalom!
