“But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.” Romans 5:8 KJV
Human love often comes with conditions—it changes when people fail, disappoint, or fall short.
God’s love is not like that. While we were still sinners, still broken, still far from Him, Christ chose the cross. His love moved first. It was steady, sacrificial, and willing to pay the highest price for our redemption.
God’s love is not earned by good behavior or lost through failure. It does not depend on how strong your faith is.
God’s love reached into our weakness and offered forgiveness, healing, and new life. His love is not temporary, it is eternal and unchanging.
Let this truth settle into your heart.
Father, thank You for loving me while I was still far from You IJN.
Shalom!
