“But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, purifies us from all sin.” 1 John 1:7 NIV
John made it clear that light represents truth, purity, and openness. To walk in the light is to live honestly before God, not pretending or hiding, but allowing His truth to guide every part of your life.
Walking in the light is not about being perfect, it’s about being honest. It means coming before God with an open heart, allowing His Word to search you and His grace to cleanse you.
Walking in the light also affects how you relate to others. It leads to forgiveness instead of bitterness, humility instead of pride, and sincerity instead of pretense.
Father, please help me to walk in the light daily, IJN.
Shalom!
