Be Inspired By Your Own Testimonies

“And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death.” Rev 12:11 NKJV

Prior to David’s victory over Goliath, King Saul attempted to discourage him from going up against the warrior and wasting his life. David, however, doused Saul’s fears by sharing testimonies of his personal encounters while keeping his father’s sheep.

David said to Saul, “Your servant has killed both lion and bear; and this uncircumcised Philistine will be like one of them, seeing he has defied the armies of the living God. The Lord, who delivered me from the paw of the lion and from the paw of the bear, will deliver me from the hand of this Philistine.” 1 Samuel 17.

David did not rely on his own power, he was inspired and filled with courage and strength by his personal testimonies. He was confident that the battle belonged to God.

Do you have a testimony or testimonies to draw strength from?

Father, please grant me the grace to draw strength from the wonders You have done in my life IJN.

Shalom!
