“Understand [this], my beloved brethren. Let every man be quick to hear [a ready listener], slow to speak, slow to take offense and to get angry.” James 1:19 AMPC
God did not make a mistake when He gave you two ears and one mouth. He probably wants you to do twice as much hearing as speaking.
You need to be quick to respond to the things that God is saying. “God has spoken once, twice have I heard this: that power belongs to God.” Psalms 62:11 AMPC. This should be your testimony.
Pay rapt attention to what God is saying. Jesus often warned His listeners: If anyone has ears to hear, let him hear. Take heed to what you hear Mark 4:23, 24.
Father, help me to always pay rapt attention to what You are saying from today in Jesus name.
Shalom!
